A dental surgery has stood on this site since 1949, and it’s not unusual for us to see three or four generations of the same local family walk through the door over the years. Dr Anthony Hooper joined that story in 1983, after graduating in 1979 and practising in the Central Coast and the United Kingdom, and has spent the decades since building the kind of long-term relationships that only come from staying in one place.
More recently, Dr Krupa Patel and Dr Dhrupad Patel, a husband-and-wife pair of dentists, have joined the practice, bringing their own interests in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and complex restorative work. Between the three of them, patients now have access to a genuinely broad range of dental expertise without needing to be referred elsewhere.

Dr Patel earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 and was accredited with the Australian Dental Board in 2016, spending five years practising on the South Coast before taking on the role of principal dentist here. Surgical procedures and complex smile design are where he tends to focus his attention.
